咖啡式爱情观

我喜欢
在冬天,手握一杯熱熱的卡布奇诺 ;

on the border line

It's clearer now.
Path is showing up.
But, my heart fail to tell anything.
Cheer up.
I know everything's gonna be alright.
*A big smile*

Christ are the head of our house

Christian Family Life
Christ—and His purposes for our lives—will truly be at the center of our home.

10 principles to keep Chris at the center of our(every christian) home:

1. Remember the Builder.
For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. Hebrews 3:4

2. Seek knowledge.
Ask God to give us wisdom and understanding in our relationships and decisions.
Grant us the spiritual wisdom and understanding to transform our house into a Christ-centered home. And that knowledge can only come from God.
We have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Colossians 1:9

3. Be on the alert for evil.
Satan does not want us, our friends, or loved ones to follow Jesus.
There are thieves in this world who want to rob and take what is not theirs.
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

4. Follow God’s directions.
As we follow God’s directions in our home, we will be filled with His joy.
Likewise, God gives us clear directions for each day that are found in His Word. When we follow His precepts, we will be filled with His joy.
I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways …Your statutes are my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. Psalm 119:15, 54

5. Keep God’s bigger picture in mind.
As we seek our neighbors’ good before our own, we will model Christ to a watching world.
In 1 Corinthians 13:5 the Bible says that love cares more for others than for self. That means that I need to care more about showing God’s love to my new neighbors than pleasing myself.
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good. Psalm 122:9

6. Live in unity.
Harmony and peace will mark my home and relationships when my actions match Christ’s desires.
It would be terrible if an earthquake destroyed our new home. But it would be far worse if misunderstanding and confusion split our hearts apart.
Living in unity is the mark of a home centered on Jesus Christ.
If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. Mark 3:25

7. Seek understanding.
As I seek to understand others in my house, it will become a Christ-centered home.
Time and effort were invested in preparing the lot for our new house and in pouring a solid foundation. And after it is built, the rooms will be filled with our material possessions.
But those material possessions will not transform our house into a home. We’ll need understanding to center (establish) it on Christ.
By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:3-4

8. Ask God to bless my home. And let others know of His faithfulness.
If our builder does a wonderful job constructing our new home, he will likely ask us to endorse his work. We will be happy to tell others about his expertise as a builder.
Likewise, when we move into our new house, we will ask God to bless it. We will also tell others of His faithfulness over the decades of our married life.
May it please You to bless the house of Your servant …2 Samuel 7:29

9. Choose every day to serve the Lord.
No matter what our culture says, we will choose God’s ways.
Choose for yourselves today whom you will serve … but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

10. Remember that the Master of my home [the Lord] will return.
May I be aware each day that my house ultimately belongs to the Lord.

Will we fulfill the purpose God has for our home?
"It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay on the alert. Therefore, be on the alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming …” Mark 13:34-35

It's November, the exam season.
Last paper to go and it's on the last day of the exam period.
It's neither good, nor bad.
Don't I suppose to be excited for the last day of uni?
umm, normal. hehe.
But, I can't smell the holidays.
A long to-do-list pops out in my mind.
And, it's getting longer day by day.
O Crazy. stress.

O Lord, You're my strength. My life is in Your Holy hands.
A-men.

Stunned

I logged in my 'long-dumped' blogspot.
Surprise me. stunned.
The last update on my blog was last December, before the Christmas Day.
Oh, Time's fleeting! Another year gone.
Umm, so I'm gonna re-post the Christmas post again next month?
No, no. I need to have something new.
It can't be that boring, right?
Even if, my blog visitors are just few of uuuuu.
Lucky one huh? hehe.

Sumo

In the beginning, Sumo game sounds so boring to me.
However, thanks to the school, I had the chance to watch Sumo games during my study in Japan.
It was fun and interesting. You might think that sumo game is just 2 big fat guys wrestle on the stage. That's right. But, I can tell that game is much interesting than what you and I think ever.

Each sumo game only last for a few minutes.
My group and I only watched for around 10 games, I guess.
And, we were lucky enough to watch the sumo games of the most famous Sumo in Fukuoka and most famous Sumo in Japan.

After 2 weeks of the sumo game, thanks to my classmate, Carmen Whiteley, we had the precious chance to visit Sumo in person. As her 70s home-stay dad

LOST

12.10.2010

1st day of going to school at city of fukuoka (TenJin).
school is situated kinda far from home-stay. It takes about an hour.
15 minutes walking from home to Fukuodai JR Train station, around 15 min to depart Hakata station. Then, ride on Subway Train for another 15 min to city. another 10 minutes walk to school.

I was forced to wake up very early that morning, around 6.30a.m.
Around 7.30a.m., my homestay mom and I went to Fukuodai station by foot.
She taught me the way to city and brought me to the school for one day Orientation. (the route is kinda complicated)
After the orientation and a simple city tour, we have international party at night. We got to know some english learner japanese students and met our language partner. The day was fun but tired me out. =) The party ended around 8.30p.m. We, then dismissed and back to homestay soon after.

Luckily, it was not scary to walk alone at night in the middle of the city in Fukuoka. As everyone is still not familiar with Fukuoka. So, we have to go back home by ourselves. Although I stay much further than others, I, without exception, have to go back myself. At the time, I didn't think that I will lost my way home because I asked the school receptionist about the way before I left the school and I think it won't be too hard to get home myself.

The station officer directed me to a totally opposite way which took me 3 hours to get back home. He thought i wanted to go `fu da qian', and actually `fu GONG da qian' is the station i go. I was so confused after double confirm with him. At last, I followed his direction and reached a totally unfamiliar place. After i got down from the train, i asked the duty officer. Then, i found out that i was misdirected. i got to ride on the same train and back to the station and took correct line to back home. I was so exhausted that night. it was kind of bad day. But, a not-bad experience, though.

my host family in fukuoka, japan

just a short introduction about my host family.

Watanabe-San is my home-stay father.
Chieko-San is my home-stay mom.
They have a daughter, Asuka-San who is 3 years elder than me and currently working in Tokyo.
I am staying in her room now.

On the first day staying in their house, I was a bit scared to sleep as it's the very first time I home-staying (modern japanese-style home) and I found quite a few ghost story books on the bookshelf in my room. I just couldn't fall asleep that night. I kept praying in heart again and again  and had the music and light on throughout the night. On the next day, I found that my coursemate had thought of japanese ghost movie as well on the 1st night. I guess, we probably watched too much japanese movie. haha.!good imagination though. =D

However, thanks God that I got good host family. They are really nice and friendly.
